The answer to your question is simple, your queue is a group of posts that you set to post during a period of time you set, for example, between 5am and 5 pm, or you can keep it going 24/7. You can regulate how many posts you want to be posted during that time (up until 50 per day), and they just post themselves during the time you defined.
Most people use it to have their blog more active, while others only use the queue thing when they go away and can’t post.
